can supplement this by a short note upon 23 laparotomies for the same condition performed by me in the Rangoon General Hospital when I had charge of Major Barry's wards during his absence on leave. In my series of cases both tubes were removed 19 times?one tube 4 times, Hysterectomy was performed three times, and in one of these latter cises the appendix was removed as it was adherent in the Pelvis. All the patients made good recoveries.
